Got to Berlin after 23 hours of travel. My body feels a little crazy, but I walked quite a bit and dined on some delicious falafel. I also found alkoholfrei beer at the Späti! Walking around with a giant pilsener is truly one of Berlin’s best past times, and I was delighted to partake :).
I can’t tell if this the Troye Sivan bridge (NSFW video if you haven’t seen it)… Maybe it’s up ahead? I’ll investigate.
I left the canned latte I bought at the co-op this morning in my car. I waited till 12pm then caved and bought a full sugar Coca Cola on the train. I’m vibrating!!! Forgot how this feels. ✨
I got to my gate 2.5 hours before take-off. I used the extra time to pay 25 dollars for a middling burger. I also… got another Coca-Cola. Had a nice chat with my parents before all of that!

I’m experiencing that pre-trip sense of excited anxiety? I want to plan for every scenario, which is famously not possible to do 🙂. Alas, I’m headed to Fed-Ex later to print out all of the documents I’ll need in the scenario that someone steals my phone (which did happen to me once…). I guess I need to pack, too. Train leaves at 8:45 tomorrow morning!
